So, whiskey may not be your first choice but hey the two of you may try and come to love it.  Kings County is one of NYC's very own city distilleries. Spouzal is teaming up with them to bring you an event with TASTING KITS that we will mail to your home so that we can all taste along together virtually. Rising above a desert plateau near Cairo are three giant pyramids. The most famous of them is the Great Pyramid, and together, they’re the only structures among the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World that is still mostly intact. The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.  The monumental tombs are relics of Egypt's Old Kingdom era and were constructed some 4,500 years ago.

The two of you will enjoy a one-hour live walking tour and will take you to the pyramids and get up close. You will learn about the ancient Egyptian history from a local expert, who will share theories on the pyramids construction as well as tombs and other surprising discoveries.

Due to time difference and Pyrmaid access, we will start at 8am sharp.  Bring your cup of coffee and settle in for a great live experience.

Get ready for a journey through the history and archaeology of wine!  Together we'll prepare 4 Ancient Spiced Wines!

We’ll learn the secrets of spiced wine that was consumed during the Roman Empire, in the Middle Age and the Renaissance!

Raffaele is an archeologists who breaks the barriers of time and space by taking us back in ancient times through wine!

We'll go over the historical significance of wine: Exploring the art of wine in POMPEII, we'll learn which wine gladiators liked to drink, the one preferred by Julius Caesar, and the classic wine found in the shops of ancient Rome.

We’ll then prepare four different types of spiced wine:

- 2 Roman (white wines)
- 1 Middle Age (red wine)
- 1 Renaissance (red wine)

During making our wines, we’ll talk about food to accompany these recipes and anecdotes’. We'll sip on the wines of the Past and feel like we are at slopes of Mount Vesuvius near the beautiful Napoli.

On this night, we will test that knowledge of pop culture that you say you have.... Couples will be paired in teams in order to determine which couple will be crowned the #CultureTags Champion!

Jess is the founder and head teacher at The Lincoln Apartment Bakery, a boutique baking school in Montreal, Canada. She is also the host of the TV baking show "Flour Power", now airing in more than 65 countries worldwide. She's also the author of The Lincoln Apartment Bakery cookbook and has been teaching baking for over ten years, and eating dessert for over three decades...!

Yes, you heard it right!  Chocolate? Jamaica?  We are kicking off Valentine's Day Weekend with a twist.

The two of you will learn the true story of how chocolate became the world’s favourite sweet, a bitter sweet tale of hard work and artisanship.   We will  start with our special welcome from Jamaica as our host is located on the edge of the Blue Mountains overlooking Kingston.  We’ll look down across the city towards the harbour as I give a brief history of the island and the historical use of cacao.  We then get to know each other before we start making inclusion bars.

Our host, Nick, is a former BBC News foreign correspondent.  His parents are Jamaican and when he discovered the amazing cacao here on the island, he decided to start his own chocolate factory!  He has since won a number of international awards for his signature bars and work alongside chocolate companies from around the world on sourcing the best fine flavour cacao across the Caribbean.   

We can't wait for this unique experience and know the two of you will enjoy it too!

The ancient Egyptians are known for their beautiful temples. The Luxor Temple is one of the most extraordinary. Containing ten sections, Luxor Temple is massive. The entrance alone is over two hundred feet wide!

The Temple complex, located on the east bank of the Nile River, in the city today known as Luxor (ancient Thebes) was constructed in approximately 1400 BCE and was completed by Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The Luxor Temple demonstrated how advanced the ancient Egyptian civilization was and that it possessed exalted knowledge and achievements both materially and spiritually.

The Temple is an architectural encyclopedia of what the ancient Egyptians knew of humanity and the universe. Unlike many other ancient constructions in Thebes, Luxor Temple still stands and is visited to this day. It is also still used as a place of worship.
